Entry: :: Where's the music? Wednesday, April 06, 2005

I was having a look at this week's Billboard Hot 100, supposedly the most respectable authority on music charts in the world...

After carefully reviewing the Top 50, it just trips me out to see Green Day fightin' his way through all that pale of crappy music... I mean, seriously... "In Da Club" was a catchy song, with a catchy rhythm; but what in the pope's name is 50 Cent doing still in the chart? 4 TIMES in the Top 10 !!!???

I think the problem is the people. Billboard charts are based on sales and airplay of the songs... People buys and requests the crappy songs...

How is it possible that "Rich Girl" by Gwen Stefani is placed 10? How did it made it to the chart in the first place? And what the fvck is "Candy Shop" ? I haven't even heard this song but judgin' by its lyrics:

I take you to the candy shop
I'll let you lick the lollypop

JEEZ !!!!

One thing that amazed me was NIN making a Hot Shot Debut... I'm really looking forward to "With Teeth".

yeh! NIN has 6 years without publishing any official material (Still, Things Falling Apart, And All That Could Have Been and The Day the World Went Away are bootlegs or smthing).

"The Hand that Feeds" and "With Teeth" are the only ones i've been able to get from this album, but sound good.

i can't believe that hip hop and rap music are the new fashion, that's just sad.
